Painting, Collage and Mixed Media

Recent pieces have evolved from  ideas  and abstractions of predominant symbols that reoccur in my work.  Many are done as narrative illustrations on paper while others are on canvas or primed panels.  The predominant media  include acrylic painting with collage, inks, pastel, drawing media and other water media.   I am not concerned with capturing the reality of what is before me, but am rather responding to what I see, feel and think to create my own images and symbols.
