Mixed Media Constructions
This gallery contains three dimensional art objects including shrines, wall hangings, wearable art and papier mache bowls.
The shrines, wall pieces and art boxes are made from a variety of materials including wood, papier mache and found objects embellished with acrylic paint and mixed media work.
The necklaces are fabricated from cloth, fabric, polyshrink plastic, and annodized aluminum. Fabricated elements include original drawings in layers of colored pencil. They are embellished with beads, trinkets and found objects.
The bowls are hand shaped layers of paper strips that are are primed, sanded and finished with acrylic mixed media work. The bowls are sealed with acrylic medium to protect the decorative surfaces. They are intended for decorative purposes.
